Library Secretary Position

North Allegheny School District is one the highest performing public school districts in Pennsylvania and recognized nationally for its focus on academic achievement and growth, future preparation, school climate and student and staff wellness. Located just north of Pittsburgh, it is the largest suburban school district in Allegheny County with over 8,500 students. The District seeks candidates to fill a Library Secretary position at Hosack Elementary/ Peebles Elementary, effective date is August 13, 2026.

The Library Secretary will provide clerical and secretarial support to the librarian, maintain materials, manage budget, act as a liaison and information conduit among the students, staff members, parents, and/or the community, and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation resulting in a maximum positive impact on educational environment. Library Secretary positions work 8 hours per day. Starting hourly rate will be in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Child Abuse History Clearance PA Criminal Record Check FBI Fingerprint Clearance Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment Physical and TB Test.
