Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Long Term Substitute (Grade
2) to join our team through mid-November 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction, fostering critical thinking, and supporting student learning and development.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to enhance student success
- Utilize technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance instruction
- Participate in professional development and district initiatives
- Active Pennsylvania GradesPK-4 license required
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Passion for teaching and student engagement
- Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Strong classroom management and student support skills
- Effective collaboration and teamwork abilities
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
