Job DescriptionThe Renaissance Advisor oversees an incentive-based program for students in grades 9–12, promoting academic achievement, good attendance, and positive citizenship. The Advisor supports student eligibility, manages program activities, and ensures recognition of student accomplishments.

Qualifications- Experience working with high school students in student engagement or advisory programs, and a demonstrated ability to monitor and track student performance, attendance, and conduct.
- Strong managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with students of all ability levels.
- Valid PA teaching certificate.
- Manage student eligibility and program participation, monitoring academic performance, attendance, and discipline to determine student qualification for Renaissance privileges.
- Coordinate program incentives and recognition, including assemblies, school-sponsored trips, and other celebrations tied to student achievement.
- Maintain program records and tracking systems, including card assignments (orange and black) and documentation of student accomplishments and participation.
- Promote positive student behavior and digital citizenship, reinforcing exemplary conduct and contributions to the learning environment.
- Communicate with students, staff, and administration, providing guidance on program criteria, celebrating achievements, and ensuring adherence to program standards.
- Has read and understands obligations as outlined in MNSD School Board Policies.
- Other duties as assigned by Administration.
September through June; after school throughout the school year
