Description:
Part-time, In-Person High School Math Teacher
- Type:
Part-time - Location:
Wilmington, DE 19803 - Schedule:
Flexible; support up to 15 hours a week (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with additional evening hours possible) for the school year. - Maximum travel distance to our center: 30 minutes.

- Provide 1:1 instruction in high school math in a school setting.
- Develop tailored lesson plans based on student needs and learning styles.
- Use creative, hands‑on approaches to make the subject engaging and relevant.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student sessions, grading, and progress.
- Communicate with parents regularly.
- Adjust instruction techniques to accommodate students with learning differences.
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience with high school-aged students (excluding student teaching) in the topic of Math (e.g., Geometry, Algebra I & II, Statistics, etc.).
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Current experience working with students with learning differences, ability to pivot to keep student engagement.
- Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching approaches based on student engagement, need, and skill level.
