High School Math Teacher

Role Description The High School Math Teacher will deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in mathematics to high school students in an on-site, Christ-centered classroom setting. This full-time role includes planning and implementing daily lessons, assessing student understanding, and providing timely feedback to support individual learning needs. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, communicating regularly with families and colleagues, participating in faculty meetings and professional development, and contributing to a positive, respectful school environment.

Qualifications

• Strong content knowledge in Mathematics, including Algebra and related high school math subjects.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
• Experience or familiarity with teaching Middle School or High School learners and developmental needs preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or licensure preferred.
• Ability to create an inclusive, structured, and supportive classroom environment that promotes respect and engagement.
• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ & attendance at a local, Christian church
