Job SummaryThis role provides daily coverage and support when Support Staff members are absent. Substitute Aides may serve in a variety of Aide assignments throughout the district, including but not limited to the following positions:
ResponsibilitiesYou will have the flexibility to choose the role, days, and locations where you would like to work, as opportunities are available throughout the district.
- Elementary Building Aide:
Provide services to students and staff to positively impact the education of children, support classroom teachers, assist with supervision and transitions during the day, and demonstrate a positive attitude and growth mindset. - Noontime Aide:
Provide supervision to students in the cafeteria to ensure a safe environment. - English Language Development Aide:
Provide assistance to ESL students with listening, speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension exercises directed by the ESL Teacher. - Library Aide:
Support library patron services by assisting students, providing services, and maintaining materials, resources, and records.
$11.75 per hour
Qualifications / Required Documents- Current PA Criminal History background check
- Current Federal Criminal background check
- Current Child Abuse background check
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
