Adelphi is seeking Instructional Aides to provide classroom support services in a school-based setting located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The ideal candidate will assist teachers with instructional activities, student supervision, classroom organization, and general academic support to help maintain a productive learning environment.

• Facility Type:
  College Preparatory Boarding School
• Job Type: As needed; short-term and long-term assignments

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or college coursework preferred
• Appropriate Pennsylvania school-based credential, permit, or qualifications
• Compliance with applicable Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements
• Prior experience supporting students in a classroom setting preferred

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction, student activities, and daily routines.
• Provide individual or small-group support under the direction of instructional staff.
• Help prepare classroom materials, organize supplies, and support lesson implementation.
• Monitor students during classroom activities, transitions, and assigned supervision periods.
• Reinforce teacher instructions and help students remain focused and engaged.
• Support a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Report student needs, concerns, or incidents to the teacher or designated administrator.
• Follow school policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
