Location: Eagleville
Special Education Teacher providing individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs. This 36‑week contract in Eagleville, Pennsylvania supports the educational team in improving student outcomes and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Deliver lessons and adapt instructional materials to meet diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.
- Maintain accurate student progress records and documentation.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support classroom learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Adhere to state and federal regulations governing special education.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to instructional planning.
- Assist with classroom accommodations and assistive technology usage.
- Valid special education teaching license
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a special education teacher
- Strong communication skills
- Patience and empathy
- Ability to perform classroom activities
- Background check clearance
