Adjunct in Cybersecurity​/SRA

Job Description

Penn State Lehigh Valley is hiring multiple part‑time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in Security and Risk Analysis and Cyber Analytics and Operations within the Cyber Analytics and Operations (CAO) degree program for the 2026‑2027 academic year.

• Design and deliver one to three undergraduate level courses per semester (1‑3 credits each), with a maximum of nine credits per semester.
• Teach day, evening, or weekend classes as required.
• Instruct courses primarily in an in‑person, on‑campus modality; hybrid or asynchronous options may be used depending on program needs.
• Participate in a teaching review during the first semester of teaching.
• Submit required documentation, including cover letter, CV, and official transcripts.

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Previous teaching experience and/or relevant work experience in cyber defense, malware analytics, networking, risk analysis, network security, or cyber law and policy.
• Strong academic and professional background in the field of Cyber Analytics and Operations.

• Availability to teach in‑person courses on campus.
• Compliance with the university’s background‑check policies.
