Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated anticipated Computer Programming Teacher to join our team. This position is anticipated to be available at the beginning of the  school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction, fostering critical thinking, and supporting student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to enhance student success
  • Utilize technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance instruction
  • Participate in professional development and district initiatives
Qualifications
  • Active Pennsylvania Certification in one of the following areas is required:
    Computer Science 7‑12; BCIT PK‑12;
    Technology Education PK‑12
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
  • Prior teaching experience preferred
  • Passion for teaching and student engagement
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork abilities
