FES Recess Monitor (Anticipated Vacancy)

Qualifications:

Experience in working with children.
Meet minimum health standards as directed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Reports To:

Building Principal

Job Goal:
To help create a safe recess experience for the students of Fairview Elementary.

Position Responsibilities:

Supervise students during designated recess times and areas both inside and outside of Fairview Elementary School.

Ensure a safe and fun environment for students to play and socialize.

Manage outside recess equipment, set-up, clean-up, and maintenance.

Communicate to teachers any behaviors that disrupt the rules for recess or cause an unsafe environment.

Ensure that various processes/procedures are established and maintained which will ensure a safe and orderly environment.

Maintain a high degree of positivity and enthusiasm for the job.

Report and/or update the principal or teachers on issues or problems related to job duties.

Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the principal.

Hours:

3.5 hours per day – 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Salary: $17.29 per hour
