Assistant Director, Career Development & Pre-Law Advising

Villanova University is hiring an Assistant Director, Career Development & Pre-Law Advising. The role involves counseling and coaching students and recent alumni on career decisions, job search strategies, and graduate/law school preparation while leading related services, programs, and events. The Assistant Director will also collaborate with campus partners to develop community-focused career initiatives and enhance pre-law opportunities.

• Counsel and coach students and recent alumni on career development, job searching, and graduate/law school preparation.
• Lead Career Center services, programs, and events supporting law school and graduate study candidates.
• Develop and deliver career and pre-law workshops, networking events, and collaborate with student organizations.
• Build relationships with campus partners, faculty, law school admissions, and maintain relevant resources.
• Engage with external groups such as Northeast Regional Pre-Law Advisors (NAPLA) and LSAC.
• Master's degree required; combination of bachelor’s degree and experience may be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in education, human resources, communication, or related fields.
• Skills in counseling, event coordination, presentation, relationship management, and strong digital fluency (Outlook, Teams, Zoom, AI tools).
• Preferred knowledge of law school admissions and experience with career services management software like Handshake.
• Salary range $57,200 to $71,500, salaried grade 14, exempt position with a full-time, 12-month schedule.
