Early Head Start Program Instructor
Head Start is a comprehensive preschool program for low-income children ages birth through five years old. It provides children with a developmentally appropriate early childhood education.
The job of Early Head Start Program Instructor is done for the purpose of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising infants and toddlers within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues;
and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
Minimum requirements:
Education Required:
Targeted, job related education with study in job related area;
Associates Degree in ECE preferred.

CDA Certificate Required
Experience
Required:
Job related experience is desired.
This is a 12 Month Position
Monday to Friday
Hours:
8:00am-3:00pm
