Campus Counselor
Berks Career & Technology Center (BCTC) has an exciting opportunity for a Campus Counselor at our West Campus in Leesport, Pennsylvania. BCTC is a premier career and technical education school serving high school and adult learners through innovative, hands-on programs that prepare students for high-demand careers and postsecondary success.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree required.
- Pennsylvania Education Specialist I or II certification with a concentration in Secondary School Counseling required.
- Previous school counseling experience preferred.
- Knowledge of career and technical education is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide academic, career, and personal counseling services to BCTC students.
- Guide students in career planning and postsecondary opportunities.
- Assist with student recruitment, application, enrollment, and outreach activities.
- Collaborate with faculty, administration, parents, and sending schools to support student success.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., 10 months (190 days). Includes six evening functions annually and two extended faculty meetings per month.
