A reading specialist is responsible for working collaboratively with other professionals to design and provide instruction/interventions to students in the following areas:

• Foundational Skills;
• Reading Informational Text;
• Reading Literature;
• Writing; and
• Speaking and Listening.

• PA State Certification - Reading Specialist PK-12
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
