The Baldwin School is seeking per-diem substitute teachers for the 2025-26 school year. Qualified applicants should be flexible and enthusiastic about working with students in Grades 6 through Grade 12. The teacher will have clear written lesson plans to execute in the absence of the regular teacher.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Implementing curriculum in Lower School classrooms.
• Providing whole group, small group and individual instruction in the classroom.
• Fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.
• Assisting students at lunchtime and recess.
• Maintaining a clean and well-organized classroom space.
• Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in education.
• 2-4 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Understanding of the social-emotional development of girls.
• Current clearances for Pennsylvania school requirements.
