Adjunct Instructor - Global Interdisciplinary Studies
Villanova University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Global Interdisciplinary Studies for undergraduate courses only. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester. The applicant must be committed to excellence in the teaching of topics related to our Scholar-and-Field-Expert Lecture Series. Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught.
Advanced degree in the humanities and social sciences or a closely related discipline is required and/or experience suitable for course instruction. Experience in advocacy work, governmental and non-governmental policy formulation and or implementation preferred. Previous teaching experience also preferred.
This adjunct position falls within the salary range of $1,160.00 – $2,230.00 per credit/contact hour. The final compensation will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate's educational qualifications, course type (drill, lab, lecture), course level (undergraduate or graduate), and market benchmarks.
