We are looking for a teacher who just doesn't want a classroom-they want to make an impact. Our upper elementary teacher will:

• believe in 100% student success.
• approach teaching as a team effort, not a solo act.
• take ownership of results and adjust when students struggle.
• be open to feedback and drive to improve.
• convey their passion for students  growth academically and socially and emotionally.
• obtain New Jersey (or another state s) certification in K-6 elementary education.

The skills our Upper Elementary teacher needs are

• to deliver engaging lessons for all learners
• using data to drive decisions
• builds strong relationships with students and families
• collaborates and is ready to be part of grade-level teams to create learning experiences and support students in our middle school s social and emotional growth

We re hiring with urgency but not in a rush. Our process includes:

• A resume review
• A preliminary phone or Zoom interview
• A whole-day visit to LCCS to teach a demo lesson, observe lessons, meet colleagues, analyze student work, and participate in a formal group interview. We want you to know if we are the right fit for you just as much as we need to know that about you.

Salary Range: $62, based on teaching experience and education level
