Substitute Cafeteria Aide
A cafeteria aide plays an integral role, in coordination with another cafeteria aide, for monitoring students during their lunch period. This person will be expected to enforce the cafeteria expectations and procedures and will seek assistance from administration as needed.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve foods as directed by the Cafeteria Manager, help in the dish room and clean tables.
- Report daily the items used to Cafeteria Manager and coordinate requirements of left-over foods.
- Learn to operate cash register and dishwasher, and serve on lunch line.
- Maintain proper cleanliness of utensils, equipment, and areas used in the performance of assigned duties.
- Notify Cafeteria Manager of any equipment failures.
- Maintain an aura of congeniality within the department, with all other district employees, students, and persons using district facilities.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Cafeteria Manager.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
