Located just 30 minutes northwest of Milwaukee, HHASD is a high-achieving district that consistently earns the "Significantly Exceeds Expectations" rating on state report cards. Richfield Middle School consists of approximately 217 students in grades 5th-8th.

The Holy Hill Area School District is seeking a long-term guest ELA teacher for Richfield Middle School. Training in our curriculum and intervention programs will be provided by the district. Professional growth is supported by utilizing coaching rounds and having access to an instructional coach and reading specialist. We are heavily invested in the PLC and RtI at Work process in order to support professional growth and layers of instruction for all students to succeed at high levels.
Qualifications/Requirements- Belief that all students can achieve at high levels
- Passionate about working with all learners
- Driven and knowledgeable in the area of English/Language Arts and/or Common Lit 360 is preferred
- Ability to develop a solid rapport with students, staff, families, and the community
- Strong leadership and collaboration skill with the ability to engage in healthy conflict to support growth
- Excellent communication skills with staff, students, and parents
- Organized and efficient
- Community and team-oriented
- Experience and/or training with Professional Learning Communities and RtI at Work
Job Duties /Responsibilities
- Develop positive, encouraging relationships with students that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Develop instructional plans that align with district-adopted essential standards and curriculum.
- Use assessment to guide instruction and provide feedback to students and stakeholders.
- Assume responsibility for student supervision.
- Use district approved Response to Intervention strategies and programs to support all learners.
- Participate in the school's PBIS and CPS model.
- Effectively collaborate with colleagues in a professional learning community.
- Analyze data to be responsive for teaching and learning.
- Participate in all school and district professional development.
- Provide intervention support for students in math.
