PAY RATE - $23 per hour and progresses to $27.50 per hour (w2 employment)
OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances & TB screening
SUMMARY:
The Person al Care Assistant (PCA) position is a field employee position providing one-to-one and small group emotional support and behavioral interventions to children/adolescents in a school setting.
SCHEDULE:
- PCAs will work on all student days during the school calendar year, 8am - 3pm
LOCATION:
- Child & Career Development Center (CCDC), Great Valley Campus: 40 Moores Road, Malvern, PA 19355
- Hires for the Great Valley Child & Career Development Center will begin the school year at the Child and Career Development Center in Coatesville, PA until the anticipated Great Valley Center opens at the end of September 2026.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver tailored one-on-one and small group support to students with disabilities, helping them participate in classroom activities, manage behavioral interventions, manage personal care, and access to educational environment as it aligns with the student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
- Implement timely interventions focusing on behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and enhancing peer interaction skills, according to the goals outlined in the IEP or positive behavioral support plan set by Special Education team.
- Gather daily data and maintain progress notes in the designated format for each session with the child or adolescent.
- Offer direct assistance to students to fulfill their academic, social, emotional, and/or personal care requirements.
