Location: Bensalem
Long-Term Substitute Teacher – Biology
The Bensalem Township School District has an immediate opening for a Long-Term Substitute Teacher in Biology. This position is located at Bensalem High School (Grades 9–12).
Qualifications- Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Biology.
- Knowledge of content within the area of certification.
- Classroom and group management skills.
- Ability to effectively use instructional materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of child growth and development.
- Strong instructional skills.
- Strong planning skills.
- Strong human relations and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate interpersonal skills when dealing with students, staff, parents/guardians, community members, and educational agencies as related to the performance of the duties of the position.
- Ability to perform routine tasks cooperatively and adjust to interruptions, variables, or changes in standardized situations.
