Kindergarten Teacher Opportunity

Jordan Bank School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher for a voluntary transfer opportunity. This full-time position is open exclusively to current employees within the district. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of young learners. The Kindergarten Teacher will collaborate with colleagues, engage with families, and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school's educational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of kindergarten students.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help each child reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, specialists, and support staff to enhance the educational experience and address individual student needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and ways to support learning at home.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom that reflects the values and goals of Jordan Bank School.
• Uphold school policies and procedures, and contribute to a positive school culture and community.

Requirements:

• Current employment within the district and eligibility for voluntary transfer.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Valid PA teaching certification for early childhood education.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for young learners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage positively with families.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students.
• Previous experience in a kindergarten or early childhood setting is preferred.
