Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated, anticipated Math Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction, fostering critical thinking, and supporting student learning and development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to enhance student success
- Utilize technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance instruction
- Participate in professional development and district initiatives
- Active Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in one of the following areas:
- Mathematics 7–12
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Must obtain necessary clearances, including PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Background, and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
- Passion for teaching and student engagement
- Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Strong classroom management and student support skills
- Effective collaboration and teamwork abilities
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
