HVAC/Refrigeration Instructor
Berks Career & Technology Center (BCTC) is seeking a dedicated HVAC/Refrigeration Instructor to inspire and prepare the next generation of skilled technicians. The ideal candidate will create a hands-on, engaging learning environment, mentoring students toward graduation, career readiness, and industry success.

Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania Department of Education certification in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology/Technician (CIP 47.0201 Air Conditioning 2010), or eligibility to obtain certification
- Minimum four years of full-time wage-earning HVAC/refrigeration experience beyond training
- Strong technical, communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Ability to deliver engaging, lab-based instruction and maintain a safe, industry-standard learning environment
Work schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (7 hours/day), 10-months (190 days). Includes six evening functions annually and two extended faculty meetings per month.
