Special Education Teacher - Full-Time - Leave Coverage

Therapy Source is currently seeking two PA Certified Special Education Teachers to work at a special needs program in the Export, PA area for a temporary coverage of up to 3 months (potentially more, if needed). This position is for the current school year.

Special Education Teacher Position Details:

Full-Time Leave Coverage Small class size (ages 4-8) with dedicated Classroom Assistants Special Education Teacher Qualification(s):

Licensure as a Special Education Teacher in the state of Pennsylvania School Certification in the state of Pennsylvania Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances

Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Special Education Teacher Responsibilities May Include:

Implementing specially designed instruction to drive student achievement

Conducting progress monitoring data and adjusting instruction based on the data Establishing a positive, structured, achievement-focused classroom

Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning

Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills

Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students

Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
