Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor. We welcome expertise from all areas of finance. A PhD in Finance is required. The position begins in Fall 2027.

The Villanova School of Business (VSB) offers both undergraduate and graduate programs (including MBA, Executive MBA, and MS in Finance) to approximately 2,500 business students. The department is also home to the Gmelich Lab for Financial Markets and the Daniel M. DiLella Center for Real Estate.

Faculty have access to extensive data resources, most available through WRDS, including CRSP/Compustat (Merged), CRSP Mutual Fund, CRSP Ziman REIT, Compustat Global, Compustat Bank Data, Refinitiv 13F Filings, Refinitiv TASS/Lipper, Dealscan, IBES, S&P Global Capital IQ, CIQ Pro, NCREIF, SDC Platinum, TAQ (Data and Volume Summary), ISS/Risk Metrics, Execucomp, Morningstar Direct, TRACE, Mergent FISD, and Pitch Book, as well as others.

Professional platforms include 36 Bloomberg Terminals, Fact Set, and Refinitiv Eikon.
