Instructional Materials Developer
This part-time position requires an individual to be available on-site at our office in Cheswick, PA, for 20 hours per week. The role involves creating instructional materials, supporting training administration, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance learning experiences.
This is a part-time position with an expectation of 20 hours per week. On-Site Availability:
Candidate should be available to go on-site to our Cheswick, PA location, as needed. Flexibility to attend in-person meetings, workshops, or collaborative sessions is expected.
- Create instructional materials using Rise 360 and other multimedia resources that align with learning objectives and engage learners effectively. Utilize emerging learning technologies and AI-enabled tools to improve content development efficiency, learner engagement, and knowledge retention.
- Support training administration alongside the Learning and Development Manager, including course assignments, evaluations follow-up, and compliance reports.
- Conduct thorough analysis of learning needs and objectives of the target audience, collecting feedback and performance data to refine and improve instructional solutions.
- Develop the overall structure and content of the curriculum or instructional program, organizing the sequence of topics and deciding on instructional strategies and activities.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, Training Specialists, and other stakeholders to gather information, review content, and ensure instructional materials meet desired learning outcomes. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential.
- Design and develop assessments and evaluation methods to measure learning outcomes, including creating quizzes, tests, rubrics, and other evaluation tools. Analyze evaluation data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary revisions to instructional materials.
- Spanish language proficiency is desired but not mandatory. The ability to design and adapt instructional materials for bilingual or Spanish-speaking audiences is a plus.
