You will play a vital part in the lives of adolescents, collaborating with educators and families to assess student needs, develop intervention strategies, and nurture the social, emotional, and academic growth of those you serve. The schedule offers 30 hours per week, and the assignment spans through the end of the school year in 2027, providing valuable continuity and the chance to build strong rapport within the school community.
Qualificationsand
Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania
- Recent experience in a school or similar setting, ideally at the middle or high school level
- Strong skills in psychological assessments, intervention planning, and collaboration
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Develop and implement strategies to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Participate in school-based teams to support student success and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations
