Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our retail store. You'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, and prepare students for performances, auditions, and school ensembles. Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment, instrument rentals, and accessory sales. You'll maintain accurate schedules and progress records while fostering a fun, inclusive, student-focused learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and follow structured, engaging lesson plans aligned with student goals
• Prepare students for performances, auditions, and school ensemble participation
• Assess student progress and communicate with parents or guardians as needed
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and progress records
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and student retention
• Support instrument rentals, accessory sales, and related retail activities
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
• Uphold company policies, standards, and best practices for music instruction
• Participate in recitals, events, and community outreach as requested
