Special Education Teacher

Epic Special Education Staffing is hiring a Special Education Teacher for the school year to support K-12 students with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will provide individualized instruction, develop and manage IEPs, and collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and school teams to promote inclusion and measurable student growth. Responsibilities

• Provide direct special education instruction to students with diverse learning needs in school-based settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with IDEA requirements.
• Use data-driven strategies to track student progress and adjust instruction and interventions.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school teams to support inclusion.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, goals, and supports.
• Implement behavior support strategies and classroom management plans to promote positive student outcomes.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district, state, and federal special education regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.
• Utilize assistive technology and accommodations to support student access to learning.
