Part-Time Middle/High School Cafeteria Vacancy
The Bald Eagle Area School District is looking to fill a part-time cafeteria staff position. Part-time (5.75 hours/day) Middle/High School Cafeteria Vacancy.
Work Hours:
7:15am to 1:15pm. Starting Rate: $15 an hour.

Ability to work in a friendly manner with co-workers and students. Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Language
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee will frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk while performing the duties of this job. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is often required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must often lift and/or move up to 50 pounds such as milk crates, frozen foods, canned food etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in temperatures above 100°F, below 32°F and occasionally will walk on slippery surfaces. The employee must be able to meet deadlines with severe time constraints and interact with the public and other workers. The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud to where you have to raise your voice to be heard.
The employee has a greater than average risk of getting a minor injury such as a cut or burn while performing the duties of this job.
