Our middle school client is seeking a PA Certified Math Teacher (8th Grade) - Aston, PA. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely-related field, a valid Pennsylvania instructional certificate appropriate for middle-level math, and experience teaching a math curriculum.

Summary of client's description of this opportunity includes planning, developing, and delivering engaging mathematics lessons aligned with Pennsylvania state standards and the school/district curriculum. It also involves facilitating hands-on, problem-solving, and real-world math activities appropriate for middle school students. Regular assessment of students' learning, monitoring progress, and tailoring instruction/intervention accordingly are also part of the role. Creating and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment, managing behavior, and supporting students' mathematical mindset and growth are essential.

Communication with parents/guardians, collaboration with colleagues, and maintaining accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behavior are also required.
