• Manage daily operations, scheduling, and technical oversight of simulation laboratories
• Coordinate simulation activities, including equipment setup, technical operations during events, and teardown
• Operate, program, and troubleshoot high-fidelity simulators, task trainers, virtual simulation platforms, and audiovisual systems
• Develop and implement simulation laboratory procedures focused on safety, efficiency, and compliance
• Maintain simulation equipment and coordinate purchases, repairs, vendor relationships, service, and upgrades
• Manage complete inventories of laboratory equipment, supplies, materials, and technologies
• Collaborate with Simulation Coordinator/Associates and faculty to implement simulation-based learning experiences
• Provide real-time technical and operational support during simulations
• Advise and train faculty on technology integration and simulation pedagogy
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, including INACSL, and institutional policies
• Maintain records of simulation sessions, usage metrics, equipment maintenance, and compliance documentation
• Implement quality improvement processes using feedback and performance data
• Develop and deliver training for faculty, staff, and student assistants
• Serve as the primary technical resource within the College
• Report to the Dean and work closely with Simulation Coordinator/Associates and Simulation Laboratory faculty
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, biomedical engineering, instructional technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in simulation operations, healthcare education technology, or a related technical field requiring independent judgment
- Demonstrated expertise in high-fidelity simulation technology, AV systems, and instructional technology integration
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safely lift 35 pounds
