Location: Morton
Empower students on their educational journey to communicate, learn, and thrive! Cross Country Education is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide specialized instruction, individualized interventions, and collaborative educational support to K–12 students in the Morton, PA area.
Position Overview- Provide specialized instruction and educational support to K–12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing, addressing individual communication, academic, and developmental needs across school settings.
- Develop and implement individualized lessons and interventions aligned with students’ IEP goals, communication needs, and learning styles.
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student progress and access to the curriculum.
- Monitor student progress, adjust instructional strategies as needed, and maintain appropriate documentation to promote meaningful educational outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Valid Pennsylvania Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) Certification(Required)
- Experience providing educational services to K–12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in a school-based setting
- Competitive Pay:
Earn up to $40.90 per hour
