Career Institute of Technology is seeking a highly motivated Cooperative Education Coordinator to lead and coordinate work-based learning and workforce development programming for secondary Career and Technical Education students. This position plays a key role in connecting students with employers, ensuring program compliance, and strengthening partnerships with business and industry.
Qualifications- Cooperative Education Certification is required.
- Completion of bachelor's degree in education is highly desirable.
- Five (5) years of successful Career and Technical Education experience preferred.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, management skills in areas of educational leadership, and students.
- Be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment; able to multitask; be a strong team player.
- Possess skills to develop marketing materials to advertise program specifics and form industry partnerships.
- Possess knowledge of Workforce Development standards, Federal labor laws, and State labor laws
