Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Survey Technician who possesses a high school diploma and has experience with Trimble survey equipment, including GPS and total station. A valid driver's license and survey instrument operation experience are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

* Assist the field supervisor with all aspects of the daily crew workload.

* Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations.

* Supervise the survey crew in the absence of the crew chief.

* Work independently as a one-person crew when required.

* Perform daily uploading and downloading of data collectors.

* Ensure daily care and charging of instrumentation.

* Continually advance knowledge with upgrades in technology.

Essential Skills

* High school diploma

* Experience with Trimble survey equipment (GPS, total station)

* Valid driver's license

* Survey instrument operation experience

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Knowledge of topography, surveying, ALTA, land surveying, topographic surveys, land development, and GPS technology

* Familiarity with survey tech and land development processes

* Experience with Carlson software

This role operates predominantly in the field, an hour from P-ville. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
