Role OverviewWind Site Technician
:
Ensure the smooth operation of wind turbines through maintenance, troubleshooting, and system support. Work with a team to keep turbines reliable, safe, and efficient.
- Maintain and repair wind turbines to keep communities powered.
- Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
- Collaborate with the team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
- Document work and continuously improve operational processes.
- Accurately time‑code all work activities to track task duration, progress, and efficiency.
- Minimum 6 months Wind Technician certificate, 1 year wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities.
- Safety‑conscious and committed to best practices.
- Team‑player who enjoys collaborative environments.
- Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions, and at heights.
- Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
- High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Physical Demands- Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Hearing and vision capabilities for communication and device use.
- Manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
- Climb stairs and vertical ladders up to 60–100 m; supervise work in confined spaces.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lb.
- Complete required safety training courses (LOTO, Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest, High Angle Rescue, Emergency Descent, Confined Space).
- Wear PPE and gear; combined weight allowance of 300 lb.
