The HSE Supervisor, working under the direction of the HSE Manager, will support the Cressona Team in developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. This includes providing training and guidance to employees on HSE matters. The role will also monitor and report on HSE performance, ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and company laws, regulations, and standards.

This position reports to the HSE Manager.

Required Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in an HSE role.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and ANSI.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• Associate degree in Health, Safety and Environment preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Acute attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

• Support the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures, including contributing to the creation of HSE training materials.
• Apply knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA regulations.
• Act as a resource for employees on HSE matters, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with assigned departments to develop and implement HSE improvement plans and initiatives.
• Provide solutions and intervention strategies for health, safety, and environmental hazards.
• Meet with assigned departmental management teams to define HSE goals and objectives.
• Conduct inspections, identify hazards, and assign appropriate corrective actions.
• Assist with incident investigations, including collecting and analyzing data and completing reports.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance, tracking and analyzing metrics such as incident rates, injury‑free events, and environmental near‑misses/incidents.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE matters, including emergency response procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment, and handling of hazardous materials.
• Stay abreast of the latest HSE trends, policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Perform additional work as directed.
