Location: Kennett Square

Constellation Energy seeks a Regulatory Engineer to support compliance and innovation across our utilities and energy portfolio. In this role, you will interpret and apply energy and environmental regulations, support permitting and reporting, and partner with cross functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable operations. You will contribute to impactful projects that lower carbon footprints, advise on new initiatives, and help shape regulatory strategy in a collaborative culture focused on growth and results.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure regulatory compliance for utility and energy projects across generation, transmission, and distribution assets
  • Prepare, review, and submit filings, permits, and reports to federal, state, and local regulatory agencies
  • Interpret evolving energy regulations and translate requirements into clear technical and operational guidance
  • Support design and operation of systems to meet environmental, safety, and reliability standards
  • Conduct impact assessments and risk analyses for new and existing energy projects
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, operations, and sustainability teams on compliance strategies
  • Monitor audits, inspections, and corrective actions, maintaining accurate documentation
  • Provide regulatory input for project planning, schedules, and budgets
  • Track policy and market developments in the utilities and renewable energy sectors
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and leadership
