You’ll be hands-on across melting, processing, quality investigations, and new product launches. One day you’re troubleshooting a quality issue, the next you’re helping bring a new alloy to life. Every day is different.

- Provide technical support across all phases of operations including refractories, melting, teeming, thermal handling, and ingot cutting
- Lead product development efforts and support new product launches
- Ensure departments follow established procedures and sound metallurgical practices
- Drive projects focused on productivity improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement
- Lead investigations into operational and quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Own the accuracy, reliability, and maintenance of analytical and chemical testing equipment
- Perform chemical analysis of final steel samples and heat certifications
- Support customers with technical product issues
- Make disposition decisions on material and product
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, processes, and best practices
