General Summary
The Graduate Trainee of Test Lab will work in specific requested project aligning with future products of VAT. This role requires both technical and operational aspects of the assigned project including design of experiments, hardware/software setup, technical analysis and communication to internal and external parties. Fresh graduates with university projects related to vacuum and mechanical/electronic/mechatronic experience is encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities- Work together with groups of subject matter experts from Malaysia and Switzerland in exploring phases of Smart Valve development.
- Proactively involve and contribute to design phase, evaluation, and qualification while delivering high commitment in technical discussions, test setups and data analysis.
- Responsibly owns mini projects by understanding components capacity, progress situation, challenge & opportunity.
- Documents all test records and keep update when development change applies.
- Presenting project ideas and development progress/results to supervisors and stakeholders with final presentation involving higher management.
- Other daily tasks assigned by the management.
- Master's / Phd in Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or relevant degree with minimum CGPA of 3.40.
- Involved in university projects relevant to motors and sensors.
- Basics understanding of vacuum in semiconductor technology.
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering.
- Lead university projects relevant to motors and sensors. Able to apply theoretical and practical knowledge to develop advanced system of new products.
- Impactful knowledge of motors, sensors and other relevant components with quick ideas to overcome challenges.
- Experienced in software development (Beckhoff PLC, TwinCAT, Lab View) and data analytics (Phyton, Diadem, Matlab) is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skill (8D, lean six sigma) and developing test such as DOE.
- Experienced in process control (SPC, FMEA).
- Extended knowledge of vacuum in semiconductor processes.
- Team players with open communication, global mindset, customer-oriented and proactive approach.
- Results-oriented and always hunger for success.
- Strong time management and planning skills with ability to manage multiple tasks of tight deadlines.
- Excellent presentation and documentation of technical data with ability to influence stakeholders.
- Well-verse of written & verbal communication in English.
