OverviewSeeking a Power Plant Project Manager to lead electrical construction and infrastructure projects within power generation facilities. This role supports fossil, renewable, and energy infrastructure projects across the United States.
Key Responsibilities- Manage electrical construction scopes within power generation facilities
- Coordinate work involving switch gear, transformers, cable tray, control systems, and balance of plant electrical systems
- Oversee project execution from mobilization through commissioning and turnover
- Manage subcontractors, field supervision, and internal project teams
- Maintain project budgets, schedules, and risk controls
- Ensure compliance with safety programs, plant standards, and regulatory requirements
- Interface with plant owners, engineers, and operations personnel
- 7+ years of project management experience in power generation or heavy industrial electrical construction
- Strong understanding of power plant electrical systems and construction environments
- Experience managing work in live or operating facilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- EPC or owner direct project experience
- Renewable energy or combined cycle power plant experience
