Eastern Controls Inc., a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser Inc. is seeking a Thermal Applications Specialist. The position is a highly technical engineering role responsible for designing, selecting, and applying thermal heat trace applications. This role focuses on engineering support, technical expertise, and education to ensure that ECI delivers best‑in‑class solutions. This role focuses on engineering support, technical expertise, and education to ensure that ECI delivers best‑in‑class solutions.

• Select proper heat‑trace technologies based on process requirements.
• Create thermal designs to ensure piping, tanks, or equipment maintain required temperatures.
• Support inside and outside sales teams with sizing, application questions, and problem resolution.
• Review customer specs and ensure selected systems meet all application and safety criteria.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers.
  
  Understand their processes, challenges, and long‑term needs.

You will have (required):

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering) or Associate's degree plus 1–3 years hands‑on technical experience (field tech, commissioning tech, instrumentation technician)
  • Technical certificate programs, bootcamps, or trade school with relevant coursework and demonstrable practical work are equally acceptable.

You may have (preferred):

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with CRM Platforms
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable and can thrive working with various internal and external stakeholders to provide the best‑in‑class process control solutions.
