The Senior Quality Engineer will support the various projects located in King of Prussia, PA.
This position is focused primarily on supply chain quality engineering.
Responsibilities- Apply quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products.
- Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.
- Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action.
- Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements.
- Develop strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity.
- Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
- Design and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
- Engage in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.
- Other duties as assigned.

- This position requires US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and requires an Interim Secret prior to start.
- Must have a bachelor's degree.
- Must have 3+ years of recent and related work experience.
- Familiar with Procure-to-Pay or SAP.
- Experience in one of the following disciplines: quality engineering, systems engineering, materials process engineering, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
- Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Supply Chain Quality Engineering.
- Proficient in defect resolution through implementation of effective root cause corrective action.
- Quality MRB certification.
- Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
- This position is located onsite; some travel may be required.
- Schedules are subject to change based on the requirements of the position and/or customer needs.

Standard Bastion Requirements- Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS.

- Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, with internal and external customers.
- Able to follow company programs, processes, procedures, practices, requirements, goals, and objectives.
- Must be organized with good time management skills and must be able to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
- Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time) and may require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
- Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.
