Senior Electrical Engineer – Energy & Power Solutions
Conshohocken, PA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
U.S. Citizenship Required
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take on a leadership role within our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, collaborate directly with clients, and contribute to strategy, business development, and project execution across a diverse energy portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor junior and mid-level electrical engineering staff
- Serve as a technical leader on energy and power projects
- Engage with clients to:
- Evaluate energy needs
- Develop concept-level solutions
- Deliver detailed engineering designs
- Support full project lifecycle:
Exploration → Development → Execution → Operation → Repowering/Retirement - Provide advisory and engineering design services across multiple sectors
- Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales teams on strategic pursuits
- Contribute to business development and growth initiatives
- Anticipate challenges and proactively manage project risks
- Support large, multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8+ years of design and/or consulting experience
- Strong background in:
- Power distribution systems and microgrids
- Power generation
- Medium and High Voltage substations
- Experience developing:
- Design calculations
- Construction drawings
- Technical specifications
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in 3D modeling tools:
- Revit
- AutoCAD
- CADWorx
- Navis Works
- Experience with power system modeling tools:
- SKM Power Tools
- ETAP (or similar)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Experience with:
- Renewable energy projects (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal)
- Energy storage systems
- Protection & Control, SCADA, or power system automation
- Campus utility master planning or decarbonization initiatives
- Cogeneration / Combined Heat & Power (CHP) systems
- Thermal utility systems (steam, hot water, chilled water)
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
- Collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships
- Passion for sustainable and innovative energy solutions
