Engineering & Maintenance Manager III

• Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities.
• Work in conjunction with the EHS Manager to establish and maintain all policies and programs to assure a safe working environment.
• Act as an interface between maintenance, manufacturing, contractors, and engineering.
• Establish and monitor staff performance and development, including goal setting and KPI improvement.
• Educate contractors on company policy and procedures.
• Prepare plant capital budget and initiate capital projects, including engineering requests, estimates, account numbers, and authorizations for capital expenditures.
• Work with internal and external resources to provide solutions that reduce costs, improve safety compliance and increase overall equipment effectiveness.
• Develop specifications for production equipment; assist in the selection, purchase and installation of equipment in the plant.
• Follow capital projects from initial idea through implementation into the plant, maintaining cost tracking and reporting quarterly expenditures.
• Lead the PM pillar and launch teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Monitor spare parts and supply minimum and maximums to maintain just‑in‑time inventory and recommend obsolescence when appropriate.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in good working condition by scheduling timely and routine preventive maintenance.
• Manage activities and maintenance of grounds, buildings and parking lots.
• Develop and outline a continuous‑improvement program for the maintenance department, including the preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure that security, fire, and emergency systems are fully operational, routinely tested, and inspected.
• Track and monitor facility utilities and implement energy‑saving initiatives.
• Schedule internal maintenance work orders and coordinate with outside vendors, ensuring timely expertise from external sources.

• BS in Engineering (industrial, mechanical, or electrical).
• Minimum of 10 years of related engineering and/or manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or equivalents.
• Industrial mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic experience.
