Summary:
Newterra is solving the world's most impactful water problems from providing drinking water for communities to cleaning hard to treat water for reuse or to return to the environment. The Pressure Vessel Applications Engineer at Newterra plays a key role in this mission of providing treatment solutions to address these needs. This position collaborates with sales, engineering, and procurement to tailor solutions for clients.
Responsibilities include evaluating customer requirements, defining system design features, costing solutions accurately, and preparing bidding packages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing duties in a safe manner and promoting safety in accordance with Newterra's safety policies and procedures.
- Comply with Quality Management Systems in accordance with Newterra's internal quality standards.
- Complete all responsibilities while ensuring adherence to Newterra's Delegation of Authority.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- More than +5 years' experience in designing and budgeting pressure vessel systems.
- Experience in application areas: granular activated carbon, ion exchanges, greensand filters, and multimedia filters.
