Entry Level Fire Protection & HSE Engineer

Location: Conshohocken

We're looking for an Entry Level Fire Protection & HSE Engineer to join our Life Sciences team in Conshohocken, PA who will be excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. As an Entry Level Fire Protection & HSE Engineer, you'll use your skills and on the job training to help deliver and complete challenging and engaging projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to address fire protection, process safety, and life safety challenges during design and construction phases.

You'll join our collaborative team providing our clients with technical design of sprinkler systems, special hazards suppression systems, fire pumps, fire alarm systems, and building/life safety codes under the guidance of a knowledgeable team of experienced Fire Protection Engineers. You will also assist with Process Safety which encompasses HAZOP, gas detection, and electrical classification studies, under the direction of Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineers.

* Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or other Engineering Program

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs

Ideally, you'll also have:

* Working knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Revizto

* Prior work or internship experience in Fire Protection Engineering or HSE Engineering/Process Safety

* Familiarity with NFPA and ICC codes and standards

* University level experience with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) (FDS) modeling and analysis
