Test & Evaluation Lab Technician; Associate or Experienced

Position Overview

We are looking for an Associate or Experienced Test & Evaluation Lab Technician (Electrical/Electronics) (Level 2 or
3) to join Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) near Smithfield and Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania.

Position will be 100% onsite.

• Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements.
• Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication, and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems.
• Supports coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities.
• Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre‑test setup, integration, checkout, and post‑test tear‑down.
• Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results.
• Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems.
• Works under general supervision.

• Associate’s Degree or higher, a technical certificate or degree, or 1 or more years of equivalent technical experience.

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with electronics test equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital volt meters.
• Experience with environmental stress screening including vibration and thermal cycle testing.

• Associate (Level
  2): $53,550 - $72,450
• Experienced (Level
  3): $63,750 - $86,250
